MARITAL MILESTONES #22 1956

FC: Here I am acting as cupid. In 1956 I introduced Clare to Jim Banville and he swept her off her feet from is shinny new Pontiac Bonneville convertible. How I met Jim is a story in itself. He was French Canadian from a small village in Canada. He was a carpenter and spent his week with other carpenters from Canada, working on Long Island houses. It just so happened that Jim rented an apartment in a house where my friend lived. I was 14 years old and Jim would drive my friend and me around to familiarize himself with the neighborhood. Sometimes, he took us to a drive in movie. I told him about my sister and the rest is history.
